About the Breeder:

Welcome to Keechak Aussies, my name is Erin Fleming and I am a small breeder of versatile Australian Shepherds.  Our dogs are much loved companions and are raised in our home and sleep next to and on our beds with us.

I got my first Aussie back in 1995, since then I've been hooked. I train my dogs in Agility, Herding, Tracking, Obedience, and  Conformation.  I am a member of  the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA), a member of the OutbackASC and I train and volunteer as a member of the Packerland (all breed) Kennel Club, and K9 Emergency Response Team as a K9 handler SARTEC II certification.

I believe firstly in a working dog.  All my dogs are proven in either the performance sports, companion activities, or both.   Good conformation, genetic health, temperament, drive, work ethic, and willingness to please, are the things I find to be the most important traits in the breed.  

My home is located in the Wisconsin countryside.  Yes we get tons of snow here, and the aussie kids love to plow their way through it.  In the winter I will do skijoring and sledding with my aussies, and in the summer they love to go swimming in our pond.
